Even if he did care for her deep down, what he showed on the outside at best was comradeship. That alone should have made Sakura drift away from him. add in the 4 or so murder attempts, the verbal abuse, and the genjutsu torture .... well ... it makes Sakura come off as obsessed with his looks and nothing more.

Sakura fell in love with Sasuke because he was “cool”, which is not wrong at all. However, in the series the love she had for Sasuke was never developed to be anything else. Even her chapters in the end of the series where she confesses to him again, made no sense. Because she never understood his pain, she knew nothing about him, other than the fact that he exceeded in everything he did. While looking good at the same time.

Actually there is a contradiction in your final statement.

If it was just about looks, a superficial love, it would not have lasted after all those things you mentioned, the fact that it did means it was genuine love.

Now about the reason, I cannot argue with you that Kishi failed to give us that.

But her love was established since the begining of part 1 and we saw it's extent in some key moments like the end of the Hidden Mist arc, the Forest of Death curse seal scene, and Sasuke's first departure.

Realistically SasuSaku should have been far more developed than NaruHina since these two were teammates together. If Kishi added what Naruto did for Sasuke with Sakura. The realationship would have been better developed. SasuSaku always looked good together. Had Sakura and this pairing developed a little bit. I would not feel this distaste in my mouth as I do right now

Why are you blaming Naruto as the character? You should blame the man who wrote it out.

Kishimoto was taking the "Forgiving" part of the series to a whole new level with him accepting Obito, the Kid Obito who wanted to become Hokage.

They understood each-other with his past TnJ when Naruto saw his past, but it was potrayed like .... I can't even explain it. Horrible writing

He did the same thing to Sasuke, but it was not created the same. Sasuke calling Itachi the "True Hokage" after he killed and massacred the Uchiha clan, but ultimately he was saved in the end by his good deeds.

I mean Naruto was really OOC when he said that, as well as several times in other situations. and yes, Kishimoto took the forgiving Bs too far, what was done with Nagato was sensible. Obito TNJ didn't even have ANYTHING to do with the crimes he had committed, but rather it only had nonsense Hokage talk and what have you, so yeah, it was horrible writing.

But still, I know what Naruto said about Obito was OOC for him. It was literally something out of a fanfiction. But yet it was shoved into the manga all because Kishimoto was so ****ing desperate to make Obito out to be a tragic hero. But how can anyone sympathize with a piece of turd who's killed, ruined the lives of and caused the deaths of at least a million people ?
