Agreed, even the people who think they are better off doing things on thier own don't esseintally do everything on their own. In reality, we maintain our survival through cooperation in the realworld. That's why we all have jobs that cater to different sections of society, from the grocery store clerk that handles the food we buy to the electrician who makes sure our homes are provided with power, we all rely on cooperation from one another to maintain stability. Even if you pull that card "I grow my own food, build my own house blah blah" you are still relying of the cooperation of the land to do so. That's how we as a human race advanced so far, and why the cooperation theme in Naruto is significant.
