A gold plated Frieza should look better, this whole thing was a bad idea from the start, shouldn't have brought back Frieza no matter how boss he was originally, shouldn't have changed the color scheme, shouldn't keep making cheesy dbz movies, just take the time and make something decent and the people will appreciate it. BotG ruined a few of the character's personalities, Goku and Gohan the most, and Frieza's return is gonna make them seem weaker than they are since they'll struggle with an opponent Goku beat like 13 years ago at a stage which just might be lower than his current base level.(I know he was SSJ but his base now after all he's done may be = to his SSJ form back on Namek)

Regarding comments on gokus base strength it may be well beyond his original Ss form possibly higher than when he fought cell. When he fought center cell his base form power was severly higher due to his Super saiyan mastery, when he fought Beerus it was explicitly stated he gained his god power (as in it's his high ) this was further supported by the fact he could land hits on beerus in base form when his earlier ss3 form was shitted on. Remember ss only multiples power by 50
