I think they will be best friends. That is what it looks like to me. Salad understands how Bolt feels due to their fathers, but I do not really see a reason for them to be rivals. Naruto/Sasuke had a reason, but Bolt/Salad have a reason to be connected.

Boruto the movie also seems to focus more on the fighting aspect too. So I'm really hoping it is not some school type crap like Blazin' predicted.

Spoilers are suggesting it's about Bolt having his Dad issues and Sasuke tells him Naruto'S stories and Naruto jumps in with "I am late dattebayo" and Bolt again saying "I hate him" to Sasuke and Sasuke repairs the relationship somehow.Basically some comedy shit

I was wondering why Kishimoto dressed him in black/red rather than yellow/orange or brighter colors. So this Sasuke thing will be interesting, if it is legit.

None of those females was an Uchiha.Besides its already a fact that Salad is more popular than Bolt in Japan which is also for the same reason
And the kids are obviously not gonna be paired up in canon anyway so what's the point in teasing

I could care less how popular she is in Japan. Fact is if we go by this manga context than this rivalry is not really possible. If Kishi never made any other females as equals to there male counterparts. What makes you think he will do it with Salada? Also this series already had a rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke. There is no point of making a new one.
