Does anyone else hate this fodder WC format ?

It seems good teams spend too kuch time playing minnows. Also the matches are way too apart. Its not like old times, where everyday some exciting match was on. Super 6/8 would have been better.

Naw I am actually enjoying it. Its nice to see small teams play big teams for once for more exposure. As a Pakistan fan though I see myself hating its matches than liking it.

I have to agree. And the format means you can make it into the quarters without beating any strong teams. England is but one example of what I'm referring to.

And yet if you win quarter final all your past performances are neutralized. That is not a good format. Super 6 seemed more credible where if you made it tontge Top 4, you would actually be one of the Top 4 teams.
