❝¨Are you one of those so called badasses?¨❞
● ○ Basic Info
Mugen is a very violent individual, often picking fights for the most petty of reasons, almost all of which end in murder. He once confessed that when approached by the leader of a nation, he got into a confrontation with the man and killed him because he thought he was ¨some crazy old dude.¨ As a result of his vagrant lifestyle and lack of steady income, Mugen will often take random jobs to murder or protect people for money, which he often immediately splurges on hookers and large amounts of food. Ironically, because he was a vagrant for most of his life, Mugen isn’t materialistic. While he enjoys having money and valuable things, he does not place much importance in them, being fully content with his lackluster lifestyle. This is perhaps best shown when he found out that his sword, his most prized possession, wasn’t worth much and didn’t mind in the slightest.
Mugen is a bit of a womanizer, often making perverted and lewd advances on women. Regularly employing the services of hookers, his libido has gotten the better of him on multiple occasions.

After picking up the art of Taijutsu, Mugen practiced relentlessly. As a result, he performed less and less raids, focusing all of his time into perfecting Taijutsu. The group began to grow discontent with him, feeling as though he was not pulling his weight enough. Noticing that all Mugen would do is exercise and train, they felt it was time to excommunicate him unless he agreed to fight with them to get food and supplies. Mugen belittled them, calling them fools for not training hard enough, but went on the next raid nonetheless. The group stalked an incoming cargo ship, and successfully infiltrated it. As they loaded their spoils, Mugen noticed that something seemed wrong with the boxes, opting that they felt different than they normally did on his previous raid. The leader chastised him, saying that hit was because he had spent all that time ¨training¨, accusing him of slacking off because he couldn’t cut the raiding work. Mugen lashed back out, not being the type to ¨take shit from no one¨ and a small fight ensued between Mugen and the leader. Mugen defeated him and almost killed him, primed to deal the finishing blow when the ship was suddenly set ablaze. It turned out that it was an elaborate trap set up by the Mizukage and the guards. Mugen pried open one of the boxes with his sword and saw that it was filled with explosives. As everyone left, the leader called out to Mugen for help. Mugen looked back for a brief second, and continued on, leaving him behind. Just as Mugen made it to the deck of the ship, the fire reached the explosives and blew the ship sky high, launching Mugen into the murky water.
Mugen awoke to find himself inside of an old house on a dock. As he tried to sit up, he found that he was bandaged up on his arms and stomach, the explosion and impact in the water leaving him badly injured. Despite the pain and fatigue that riddled his body, Mugen stood up and began to make his way out of the house, only to be stopped by a middle aged woman. Per his nature, the first thing Mugen noticed was that she was rather attractive. Commenting that he ¨Normally doesn’t swing the way of cougars, but loved her hooters¨, he attempted to make a move on her, only to be launched out of the window by her Fuuton. She then told him that while she had no intention of playing games with him, she did know who he was and offered to teach him how to fight better. Confused, Mugen demanded to know who she was and why she wanted to teach him. She merely said that it would be revealed in due time, but did reveal that she was not his mother when he disgustingly exclaimed ¨Oh man, you’re not my friggin’ mother are you?¨ She then went on to teach him all she knew over the next few years, and he discovered his natural talent for Water and Wind, mastering the elements with much ease. The others were harder for him, mostly because he found that he lacked the proper focus, but he made it through nonetheless. After making one last rejected advance, Mugen left the woman, giving him his best version of thanks. Saying goodbye, she informed him that they would meet again some day, much to his indifference.
Mugen wandered back into Kirigakure, aching to find something to eat. He wandered into a local shop, and found that the owners were having trouble with a group of foreign ninja. Claiming they were being led by the son of some military feudal lord in a distant country, they used their supposed diplomatic immunity to cause trouble for the shop owners. As they tried to make advances on the waitress Mugen laid down on a couch in the waiting area. When she approached him, he offered to ¨take care of these jackassses¨ for 20 dumplings. She offered him 10, but he reported that she could forget it because he wasn’t going a dumpling lower. As she made her way back to the kitchen, she accidentally tripped and spilled tea all over the son of the feudal lord. He stated that it was okay, under the condition that he could take one of her fingers. His men held her down, and he mercilessly began to threaten her, placing a knife against her finger. She then cried out to Mugen that she’d give him 100 dumplings, and he promptly stood up and started making short work of the men. He killed two and cut off the arm of another before lunging for the feudal lord’s son. He grabbed his hand and demanded they run around the store, leaving through the front door and entering through the back. He claimed that for every second it’d take them, he’d break a finger of the feudal lord’s son. Not taking him on at first, he broke one finger and they all began to run. Breaking all the fingers on one hand, Mugen declared that he’d just go ahead and break them all. At this point, another man named Jin entered. Mugen, taking him for one of the men working for the feudal lord’s son(he had actually just murdered the feudal lord) attacked him, and the two were evenly matched in swordplay. Because the man was a samurai Mugen stuck to close combat, aiming to test himself. The feudal lord’s guard, however, out of panic that his arm had been severed, set the shop on fire. Mugen, the waitress, and Jin were caught inside, and Mugen was knocked out by a falling beam. When he awoke, he found that he was in prison in a cell with Jin. Arguing the entire time they were in there, they were eventually set free by the waitress, who announced that her name was Fuu. The trio ran off, narrowly escaping the guards. She then announced that they owed her for destroying her shop, and as payment, they’d protect her on her journey. Mugen reluctantly agreed, and traveled with her for a year. After multiple mishaps and fights, Mugen grew stronger, actually learning more. With a sense of purpose slightly reinvigorated in him, Mugen parted ways with Fuu and Jin, heading back to Kirigakure.

History:
Mugen was born in a poorer part of Kirigakure during the era of Bloody Mist. He lived with his parents in the streets up until a certain point when he was a toddler. He was separated from them, and never saw them again. Assuming them to be killed, Mugen forgot them, but retained the survival skills he was taught. Mugen managed to take care of himself, stealing food and clothing in order to survive. He quickly found that the only way he could survive was to be an outlaw, and as such, embraced the lifestyle, eventually growing to completely enjoy it. As Mugen grew, he found that his conditions got harsher and harsher, and eventually joined a group of vagrants in order to increase his own chances of survival. The group quickly grew from being mere outlaws to outright criminals, often attacking incoming cargo ship to steal food and supplies, and breaking into homes for shelter. Quickly catching the attention of the Mizukage and his guards, the group was sentenced to execution and were to be arrested on sight through any means necessary. Catching wind of the manhunt on them, Mugen and the others began learning how to fight, training themselves in close quarter combat. While raiding a ship, Mugen found his signature weapons. a unique sword with a curved blade and a hilt with two prongs sheathed across his back and the other a small tantō concealed at the end of his scabbard (only resorted to as a trump card). The sword appeared to be a combination of a traditional Japanese katana and a Okinawan sai, which made Mugen want it all the more. He quickly mastered the ways of the sword, becoming adept at Kenjutsu before he was even a teenager. It was around this time that he had his first confrontation with the Kirigakure ninja, who were attempting to arrest him. Narrowly escaping with his life, and being his first on-hand encounter with ninjutsu, Mugen realized he would need more than simple Kenjutsu to survive. He became fixated on learning Ninjutsu as well, but was unable to find a suitable teacher. Because of this, he settled on improving his hand-to hand combat, and trained with the eldest of his group to learn Taijutsu.
