[Suggestion] Photography Section

I think it would be cool if we had a section solely for the purpose of posting our photographs (unrelated to the contest itself) Thoughts?

When I say "our photographs" I'm not implying our that we post our selfies. I'm suggesting a section where people whom are practicing photography as a hobby or professionally could open threads and post their photos, and post other photos with disclaimers (NatGeo or whatever photos of the nature for example)

Yeah, well that would be posting of photography of others ofcourse, (with disclaimers ofc) that's a nice idea for one of the threads; and ppl could also open their threads of photos they took on their own; for example.

So the bottom line would be what; that you've disregarded both suggestions at their roots just cuz you think that I'm what? Wanting to show off my virtual feathers and instead of actually wanting to help to improve NB? That's what your "Open your Fan Club" answers imply btw.

I think we should directly ask Lawliet or Zise About this matter. This is something I'm willing to invest my time to nvite as many members as I can.
Maybe everyweek we can have certain theme not NB related of course Eg. FAVORITE SPOT / PLACE IN YOUR COMMUNITY ,TOWN OR CITY And many more.
Under each pictures cite your ideas, explain why you care to share that picture.

I think we should directly ask Lawliet or Zise About this matter. This is something I'm willing to invest my time to nvite as many members as I can.
Maybe everyweek we can have certain theme not NB related of course Eg. FAVORITE SPOT / PLACE IN YOUR COMMUNITY ,TOWN OR CITY And many more.
Under each pictures cite your ideas, explain why you care to share that picture.

I went trough with Skorm's/Ira's idea of opening a thread in chatterbox. And guess what, since that section is overwhelmed with games (lol) it will just drop on bottom in short time and get forgotten most probably.

Not a fanclub for yourself but a fanclub for each subject.
I am telling you that it's not that easy to get an entire subforum just like that and there needs to be a crowd for it, if i disapproved your suggestion from the root i would not even have responded suggestions of how you could get your message out there at all. If it becomes a big thing sure i don't personally see a problem with a sub-forum but you first need to have a huge interest for it.

I love this idea and it would be really nice as to see it implanted. That's perhaps due to my love towards photography. It would be nice to have a section which would allow for sharing of our photography work as well as getting some tips and opinions when it comes to them.

Ira's idea of thread in chatterbox for what? I suggested making a Fan Club and a social group if need be for different threaded discussions for it. If it works then maybe we can have a section.

I had suggested a fan club and/or a social group and Skorm even tried to explain the fan club in detail and yet you go to chatterbox. Whatever but then don't drag our name in. Thank you.

Since when Skorm is Ira? Secondly that doesn't change the fact he too named all three and you chose that option for yourself.

And yea it's not a a photography forum but manga/anime forum. A whole section for a completely random topic is not going to make it worth it. Run a successful group first and if it works out well enough then you can try asking for a sub section for it.
