Shorter poems generally have a greater effect as they deliver the message rather quickly compared to longer ones which lose the poetic effect over time.

Well, I think that shorter poems ( 3 stanzas) are better as they deliver the message quickly and emotionally affect us also.

Though, this one is too short. Lol What does it even mean ?

As far as I can tell, this is my interpretation :-

1 st -This person's mind has being filled up with the emotions of Love (He loves someone) but it has no outlet (His Lover has not yet accepted him).

2 nd - His heart is beating rapidly because of the pain the wait is causing him.

3 rd - He wants to meet her soon so that he can confess his love and get rid of his depression.

4 th - If she doesn't come, he will drown his Sorrow/Depression in Liquor.

How correct Am I ? Lol
