What's wrong is you using Hashirama's abilities to cmpare to Yamato's? Lol even fodders were able to counter the Juubi's spikes using fire style. A Kage against someone as weak as Yamato? Simply a joke.

I have no trouble seeing why Yamato's mokuton is any less durable than Hashi's but I'm not sure about the whole thing, so you win you potato. And Yamato is faster than Mei and is quite versatile with Mokuton clones, suiton and doton. So it's not that much of a stretch to pit him against her.

Yamato has the element of suprise by blending one of trees. He could win if he manages to trick Mei with fake death of his Wood clone. Lava makes the perfect cover actually, since it will melt there will be no evidence for Mei to suspect, and when she lowers her guard down Yamato can win. His Wood is a good defence for Lava, i mean it will melt for sure but he can gain a few seconds which will save his hide.

But with intel Mei wins this medium diff.
