No. The difference is Kendrick wasn't deflecting any of the negative meanings(In the last couplet). As in he wasn't saying oh the reason black people do this is because of this, or the reason white people do this is because of this. Before however, he was. Which is what made him the hypocrite!Inanimated is the biggest hypocrite of 2015. Once I finish, if you listen, I'm sure you will agree. Nah I know exactly what you're saying. You're saying that Caliburn saying ¨Well, African people also had slaves, so the blame shouldn't be on just Europeans or White people¨ is him trying to deflect just blame, and is an attempt to make it seem less bad or alright, what they did. You're a hypocrite because when Kendrick Lamar said the same thing about murder, you called the song hot and said the message was great. Kendrick said the same thing Cali did, the only difference is Cali said it about slavery and Kendrick said it about murder, but you criticize the former and praised the latter. Hypocrite.

Kendrick then turns his back on deflection and says why is he crying over black lives taken by white men, but not black lives taken by other black men. Meaning he has seen how one sided the argument is. There is uproar when there's white on black crime, but when there's black on black crime, there is hardly any uproar. He's finally explaining why he's a hypocrite!(Click on the Hypocrite links to understand it further)
Saying white people gave us the crack, and made us the murderers is simply deflecting the real problem.
