Creating the core could be likened to Yin-release (creating form from nothing) and applying the gravitational effect to that form, Yang-release (breathing life into it). Not sure if this analogy works.

Hagoromo version of the CHibaku Tensei is all I could find. It lists Naruto as a user too, so it must be the fuuinjutsu version.

Chibaku Tensei / Six Paths Chibaku Tensei" has a single entry, and lists "Nagato / Naruto and Sasuke, Hagoromo and Hamura" as its users. It's a kekkei genkai sealing jutsu.

Six Paths Chibaku Tensei is invoked when two users simultaneously touch their target with the "Yin" and "Yang" seals. It rips a giant chunk of earth up and turns it into a heavenly body, becoming the Prison of Six Paths (六道の獄 Rokudō no Goku) that can capture all things (万物捕, "banbutsuto"). It's a sealing jutsu that can be used by individuals who awaken Six Paths Senjutsu. "Chibaku Tensei" is the version that can be used by a single individual, while "Six Paths Chibaku Tensei" is a more powerful version that requires two individuals simultaneously combining the power of Yin and Yang. It turns the sealing target into a gravity core in the sky, which attracts chunks of earth that bury them alive. The Rin'negan jutsu "Chibaku Tensei" is simply the manipulation of gravity to draw physical objects towards it's core to create a mini-satellite.

The Six Paths CT is the same thing, but the Yin-Yang portion is the aspect of the jutsu that seals away Kaguya's powers and splits her up into the Gedou and the Bijuu separately. That's why the seals are needed against Kaguya or it's an instant loss.

I always thought that a lot of Six paths techniques were yin yang release since they weren't elemental or fall under any known category. Asura is creating something from nothing and I am suspicious whether the monsters created by animal path are just beasts created with the rinnegan (can't see them existing somewhere else in the world. Shinra Tensei is definitely uses yin yang release so if Shinra Tensei uses yin yang to pull off repulsion then I don't see y CT wouldn't use the same source to provide attraction.
