I know that they can release utrasonic sound waves in order to shatter things such as Gurren's Crystal. They also posses echo location, utilizing sound waves to pin-point their surroundings. Both summon and user have a special ability to communicate via sound waves. As for the rest, i am unsure, I'd love to learn as much as I possibly can so I can expand on it's concept

Pretty interesting *points at the batcave* Go in the cave and look for the scroll while the bats go crazy while you are in there. Than sign the scroll with your blood.

Izaku activates his Byakugan as he was order to enter the cave. He utilizes the special ability of his doujutsu in order to easily pin-point the location of the scroll. However he is suddenly attacked by a large number of bats, having his face scratched, drawing blood in the process from the left side of his cheek. At an attempt to protect himself, Izaku molds and materializes water above in the form of a an orb. He then uses shape manipulation in order to release several sharp whips which would allow Izaku to fend off the bats that were trying to attack him. He continuously manipulates the whips as he gets to the scroll and unravels it out in front of him. He presses his fingertips on the blood running down his face in order to write down his name in Kanji form. He then leaves a mark of his finger prints, thereafter folding the scroll and sprinting out of the cave and towards his teacher.

Alright now using the summoning jutsu I want you to summon a pack of bats. Pretty simple jutsu

Izaku draws blood by biting his thumb and then continues by chaining together the necessary hand seals. He finishes the ritual by slamming his left hand against the surface of the ground. Soon after, a poof of smoke explodes out of thin air, summoning a pack of bats.

How long would they stay on the field if not dealt with? What would be the damage points dealt by each bat, "freeform"?

Description: The user will perform the summoning jutsu and summon a giant bat which is the same size of Sasuke's hawk. It is able to have two people on its back and fly with no problem and has wings capable of producing air waves strong enough to push back enemies within short range (C-Rank ability), which makes this it a difficult opponent. It can fly a high speeds and scratch or bite opponents. This bat has no elemental affinity but has an incredible hearing and the same sonar-like abilities as other Bats.
Note: Can only be summoned once
Note: Air waves count as a move

Now summon a bat as big as Sasuke's hawk. You could use this bat to fly in the air and avoid attacks. You could also use its air waves and use a fire jutsu to make a fire/wind combo ^^

Understood. Would I be allowed to summon in mid-air just like Sasuke did?

With blood already drawn, Izaku weaves the necessary hand seals and places his dominant hand on the surface of the ground, allowing him summon a singular large bat in front of him. The bat begins to show it's skillset by flying at high speeds around the field whilst releasing air waves to destroy the trees.

What could I use as a comparison for the speed in which the bat can travel at? Since it specifies fast.

Than when you get the hang of it I want you to use the ultrasonic waves on the bats in the caves to control them and give them orders. Its a great jutsu for getting random bats that arent summon to work for you or using bats you already summon communicate with you to help find your opponent.

Izaku focuses on his vocal cords as he channels his throat with chakra. He begins to hum sounds slightly whilst releasing chakra as well, trying to create pulsing waves of chakra. After getting the hang of it, he turns his body towards the cave and begins to release sound waves that the bats can understand. Izaku causes two bats to come out of the cave and sit on his shoulders.

Can ultrasonic waves be heard by others? Or just the bats?

Bats and if any bios has advance hearing like people with sound release that use a jutsu that allows them to hear better^^

Now since you can control the bats use them to all produce high frequency ultrasonic waves at my clone so that his mind causes his senses to be disrupted. This was the jutsu in the anime that guy with bats used against Guren's jutsu. You could create a jutsu using this as a basic to mess with opponents senses or certain sense.

Would I have to use the previous technique to speak to them, and command them to use this technique? Or would it be passive? Also, up to what rank crystal release can I shatter? Also, could this work against other crystal-based elements? And/or maybe Ice release?

Izaku releases ultrasonic waves in order to command his previously summoned bat to release a wave that would disrupt a random bird's senses, causing it to come dropping from the sky.

Which senses could be disrupted exactly? And what end-result effect could happen?

1. So the only bats that are able to use the ultrasonic wave attack without me previously spending a move to communicate are the Pack of bats? Or maybe future customs I decide to make should I include it?
3. If I choose to use the regular summoning technique, the B ranked one. Would the bats summoned be able to use the ultrasonic wave technique? Or only the communication one?
5. Can I create bat custom summons that release stronger sound waves to take out larger things than just crystals?

1) yes because the bats are already under your control the other jutsu is basically to have random bats under your control
