Wow. People are still trying to claim Naruto doesn't have RSM because he didn't need to use it in The Last. If I go by those standards than Sasuke has lost all of his rinnegan jutsu because he didn't use single rinnegan jutsu during the movie just like Naruto didn't use any RSM jutsu. In fact since Sasuke didn't even attempt to face or try to stop Toneri (someone who threatened to destroy the world) than that proves Sasuke has lost all his jutsu except for his chidori. Why, because if Sasuke still had his power from the war he would have at least tried to stop Toneri.

Yes, that sounds stupid and it should. But, unfortunately so many have been saying the same about Naruto since the movie was released because he doesn't use RSM.

Like I said Not using the RSM is not evidence of losing RSM.

The only reason they didnt use RSM IMO was because when this movie was in production,Naruto didnt have that powerup and it would be a pain in the *** to remodel the entire fight with him using his RSM technique.Sasuke was only shown for like a minute or so and he didnt use any tech so it was easy to show him with Rinnegan

You need to understand the type of battle Naruto and Sasuke was engaged in. They were fighting 2 different battles. Sasuke was fighting a physical battle. He goal was simple, kill Naruto. He lost that battle and he failed. He even stated he lost.

Naruto was fighting a mental battle. His goal was to change Sasuke's thought process. That's a very difficult battle compared to Sasuke's battle because it limits Naruto. He couldn't kill Sasuke or that would have been a lost. Naruto understood that just physically beating Sasuke wouldn't mean an automatic victory. He could only win if he changed Sasuke's mental state. Naruto won.

I still believe Kishi didn't have Naruto use RSM because he is changing Naruto by making him more like is father. 4th was a ninja that used the bare minimal about of power in battle. That's how he's changing Naruto. Like I said Naruto had opportunities to use his stronger modes when he face Toneri, yet chose not to. That's not the only thing. There were several jutsu he didn't use during the movie. IE: no frog fu, beast ball or chakra claw. Those were main jutsu he used during the war.

Naruto's The Last improvements/new feats:

- Base mode Naruto can create a FRS with one hand, throw it, and control it's trajectory (anything Naruto can do in his base mode can be done in his other modes)

- Rasengan blast (that's the new Rasengan he used at the end of the movie. It shoots out like a blast of energy, similar to how the beast ball can be shot out in a wave form)

- Improvement in speed (base mode Naruto blitz an enemy while attacking him head first and he has learned how to fighting continuously at high speed)

- Improvement in strength (Naruto defeat Toneri with a punch and that attack had so much force and power it completely destroyed the ground underneath Naruto, similar to how 8th gate Gai destroyed the ground when he attacked Madara. But difference was Gai's attack was directed towards the ground while Naruto's attack was parallel with the ground)

- Improvement in taijutsu/agility (base mode Naruto kicked ass in taijutsu throughout the entire movie. He easily defeat puppets and Toneri using taijutsu)

- Naruto can release the 9 tails from his body and the 9 tails can use chakra mode

- Naruto can fly without needing to be in RSM

- Partial chakra mode (Naruto can now gather 9 tails chakra just around a specific body part IE: his arm)

- Chakra shield (the jutsu Naruto used to block Toneri's strongest attack at the end of their battle. Naruto focus chakra on his hand to create a shield)

- Unknown jutsu he used to remove the chakra ball from Hinata (it appears to be yin-yang based since he was able to remove the charka ball from Hinata without injuring her)

During the Kakashi novel, before Naruto get his new arm, he learned how to preform hand seals with 1 hand.

As you can see from those improvement Kishi is putting more focus on Naruto's base mode.
