Anyway, ''manly'' can be viewed on from many angles, but if we're talking about the stereotype, then Jiraiya fits best - alcohol and women. If not, then characters like Ay and Gai would be top.
However, i think that Hashirama Senju is the closest when it comes to being a man. He was nearly perfect in every regard, had a wife, had power, kind but serious when needed, and overall gave off that feeling of an abundance of testosterone and dominance, which every man wants.
