why didn't madara :

1. use his PS and let the susano tank the attack.


2. Petra'd path the attack.

he coulda even used rib cage susano to not get hit like that, so why didn't he? we seen him using susano with no eyes.

i bring up this question because people always bring this scan up, even though madara's character has plenty of jutsu in his arsenal to counter this move.

if he didn't try to absorb it, I'm assuming he couldn't.

Anyway, he was regenerating, so the best thing to do, was avoiding the attack, he tried Limbo but it didn't work.

why can't PP absorb it? DB says it can absorb any ninjutsu no matter how much chakra. and senjutsu has been absorbed before. madara even stole all off hashi's SM.

No, the level from that attack far surpassed anything the Mizukage could of sent to Sasuke. He would of been hit all the same, and would of looked even more pathetic trying to block it with Susano'o. That's why he used one of his strongest techniques to stop it from happening, or to switch with himself. However, it did not work.

And, PP has his limits:

"多すぎるな。。。" - "Too much..."

"な" is being used to emphasise as such.

Still doesn't save him. Limbo on the other hand could have taken the attack for him which is why Madara didn't waste time with ribcage Susano'o and tried you use that instead.

Very simple, he wasn't that supposed Godara at that moment and was very short on options and Naruto executed that attack very swiftly...

Beat me to it. This was what I was going to type. He was still recovering from his fight with Gai. His chakra was probably tied up in healing and could only do so much at the time. He even noted he wasn't fully healed from his fight with Gai when Naruto and Sasuke afterwards attacked.

Too much power coming at him and not enough time to draw out his own chakra and tank or absorb it is my best guess.
