Or he can harden his flame attacks. The name is "spear" which should tell something. However, on the same page, we also see Teach punching him away without grabbing him(so not sucking his power with his ability) which could emphasize the usage of haki on his part. Also, i think there is a sequence when Ace and Akainu are clashing, where i think their punch were touching each other, which could again mean something(or not?). I have no doubt though that Ace was a haki user judging by his potential(even called by Sengoku to have the greatest one and awakening conqueror at 10), especially when the likes of Boo and Tashigi have it despite being relatively unexperienced with new world fighters

They were condensed enough to have a piercing effect, which would require a pseudo-physical form. Anyone could have grabbed them.

Ace and Akainu are logias, and all they did was extend their flames towards each other.

Haki allows you to grasp matter, which is fire.

You can't grasp fire, it has no physical form.

BB's fruit negates devil fruit users on contact with their body.

BB has Haki and can grab the attack. He actually told his crew earlier not to try and fightAce since their Haki wasn't strong enough.
That or since BB's fruit draws in DF he maybe able to interact with powers formed from DF

Where did he say their Haki wasn't strong enough?

He didn't say they're Haki wasn't strong enough, he said they weren't ready yet.

Exactly. I doubt he could've scarred a skilled user like Shanks without Busoshoku Haki himself

We have no idea when Teach gave Shanks that scar. Could have been shortly after he started his independent pirate career. Being that the Yonko don't normally fight each other and Teach was with Whitebeard long after Shanks became a Yonko, it stands to reason it was before Shanks got his title as Yonko.

Also, way to leave out the link to the quote in your sig so it's purposefully out of context. Pathetic.

Now it's settled then, BB had Haki long before he had his fruit.

I Remember in his old cameo he had a three blade claw, same pattern on shank's face.

BB had Haki long before he had the Yami fruit, what the hell was Ace thinking?
