Kakashi med diff. Genjutsu is a non factor, they stalemate each other in CQC, and Kakashi has better ninjutsu overall w/ suiton, doton, and raiton as opposed to katon and suiton. Bunshin tactics go to Kakashi as well, who has actually fooled Itachi twice before, while Kakashi saw through Bunshin Daibakuha and saved Kurenai from getting blown up.

The way i see it, he makes more with less. In this case it means the only thing that puts Itachi above Kakashi is his MS.

Kakashi takes this med diff. He has wider ninjutsu arsenal and without MS, Itachi can't fool Kakashi in genjutsu. At close combat Kakashi bests him after some struggle with his Raikiri or lightning infused kunai. Kakashi already fooled him with a shadow clone, he could try similar trick with a lightning clone.

Itachi. He has better taijutsu than Kakashi, and his elemental ninjutsu and mastery of the Sharingan are better. Without their Mangekyo abilities, Itachi is still the better ninja.

Kakashi. His jutsu arsenal and versatility is just superior, their taijutsu is about even, genjutsu below MS level is useless (Kakashi was seeing through Obitos genjutsu), and Kakashi has better stamina.

Kakashis hiding like a mole and lightning clone feints are really effective.

OP: Kakashi mid diff. He has superior ninjutsu via his 3 shown elements and db giving him the reaming two, and his outstanding clone feats that tricked itachi twice.

Taijutsu goes to kakashi as well since his prowess is great enough for him to open gates and be compared to rock lee.

Genjutsu is non factor seeing as both have sharingan.

Itachi wins this rather easily. Like seriously, Itachi has proven this before that his skill is far superior to Kakashi's without utilizing their MS techniques.

Itachi has shown better speed and reaction feats, not to mention he has better ShurikenJutsu. Ninjutsu can go to Kakashi, but it's not like any of his ninjutsu will hit.

Kakashi wins low diff, mid diff at worst. With War Arc feats, he is faster, has better reflexes, better CQC. He can add Raiton to his taijutsu, with Raikiri in the hand or in his kunai, so his CQC can't be blocked or parried, just evaded, and that's difficult when he is faster and more skilled; Kakashi has also Rasengan and is better with bushinjutsu feints, he already fooled Itachi with a Kage Bunshin and can fool him everytime with a Raiton Kage Bunshin, even Pain with Rinnegan couldn't avoid to be tricked. Kakashi's other ninjutsu overcomes Itachi's easily, Raiden, Raiju Hashiri, powerful Suiton, versatile Doton and who knows how many other things shit on low level Katon and barely decent Suiton, and now Kakashi has the reflexes and speed to keep up with Itachi's handseals. Genjutsu isn't a factor, really. Kakashi has far more stamina and chakra and he is physically tougher, he can also open the 1st Gate.

In a all out fight, Kakashi's MS shits on Itachi's MS, as Kamui can outspeed Amaterasu, warp away Susanoo or Itachi in the Susanoo and be used without any risk to be caught in Tsukuyomi. Kakashi definitely surpassed Itachi. And that's obviously not counting DMS Kakashi, which is tiers and tiers above.

Kakashi wins mid-high diff. Raikiri gives him the advantage in close combat and from longer distance all of Itachis jutsus get countered.

Itachi, low diff, like so many have already said. Kakashi's only advantage is superior stamina, but that's also countered by the fact that he's a non Uchiha wielding the Sharingan.
