This filler arc is moving too slow now...

It doesn't look like they will get back to canon in April when the opening&ending is scheduled to change, the filler arc is moivng too slow. As of Feb 26 they are still in the 2nd exam, that still leaves preliminary phase, final phase, and Akatsuki still has to do something.

It seems they are just trying to stretch out the final season so it will last a full 6 months like normal (April-September). I think April will still be filer, and May-September should finish canon

I don't think it'll end this year as they're probably going to expand the filler fight with Gai Vs Madara, Infinite Dreamworld, Kaguya Arc and Naruto Vs Sasuke fight. Then after all that done, they're going to further continue with either a Shippuden series or the next Gen series by adapting the novels character spinoff.

Akatsuki will appear just like what happen to the 3 tails and 6 tails filler arc, and according to the databook, Fuu was the first jiinchiruke to be captured which mean it's most likely happen

Yeah it's looking like they're going to stretch it out for another cour after seeing the recent Shira 1v1 fight.

I'm doubting they'll do that now with all the stretching out they're doing with the current arc. Let's say the Chunnin Exam filler arc ends at around May/June. That would mean they'd have to rush volume 69-72 in less than 6 months and I can't see them doing that. The way I see it now is that after the filler arc they'll finish volume 69 and 70 (Chaps 663-679) for Opening 17. While Opening 18 will finish with volumes 71 and 72 (Chaps 680-700).

Correct. Some examples would be opening 3,5,8,10,13,15 and 17 appears to be heading towards that same route.
