What DBZ movies do you consider canon?
I understand the only ones that are canon are Bardock story, BOG, and Tarble.
I personally like to think the 1st Brolymovie, Bojack, Hirudegarn, and Hatchiyak are canon because I feel there time placement are legit unlike Turles, dr wheelo garlic jr other Broly movies and the janemba one.

All I know is that the one with Bardock's final moments on planet Vegeta was the best. Not to be confused with the one where he went back in time and killed Frieza's ancestor.

None because they all end in a stupid way and contradict the canon

There are only two Canon DBZ movies. Battle of Gods and Revival of F.

Let me clear this up for you.

Btw, I'm Jiraiyathesannin, the resident dbz expert on the base.

If you want, you can review the canon guide i co-wrote with Derek1st. I can link it later

The gist of it is, in dbz, there's an old canon, and a new canon. old canon (and by canon, i mean canon, semi canon, and non-canon) is from dragonball all the way up through the old dbz movies and gt (yes, i know its non canon, but its in the grouping).

New canon if from "yo son goku and his friends return" all the way up through Fukkatsu No f.

In the old canon, the only things that were actually canon were dragonball, and the non filler parts of dbz. Psuedo canon was the filler parts (as they didn't conflict with the story at all), bardock movie, and future trunks movie. Those are psuedo canon just because they expand on earlier events and don't conflict with anything. Non canon are ALL of the dbz movies and gt. Future trunks and bardock aren't movies anyway, they're ova's.

in the new canon, we have battle of gods which is 100% canon. Fukkatsu no F (the new movie) is also 100% canon in this new canon.

dragaonball minus and Jaco the galactic patrolman are canon aswell.

Yo son gogku and his friends return (tarble) is semicanon. its an ova. It doesn't NECESSARILY conflict (although it kinda does) its by no means canon.

Sure, some say tarble is indirectly referenced in battle of gods, but thats just because toei wanted to legitimize their other movie. Akira toriyama told them battle of gods could be canon, so they reached a bit with that.

Also, in the dub, bulma goes "dont you have a brother somehwere?" and vegeta goes "yeah but its not on a planet i'm familiar with".

In the SUB though (more accurate) she goes "oh man, please tell me you have like another brother somehwere" and he goes something like "not anywhere I know of" meaning no. Also whis confirms there are only 5 saiyans in existence.

So no, its not canon.

Now adding up both old and new canons, we have as 100% canon as Dragonball manga, Dbz manga (the anime not counting fillers), dragonball minus, jaco the galatic patrolman, Battle of gods, and Fukkatsu no F.

Thats ALL.

Dead Zone
World's Strongest
Cooler's Revenge
Bojack Unbound
Wrath of the Dragon
BOG
Revival of Frieza

The non canon movies i don't really consider canon but i think they could be integraded into the story with minor tweeking.
