Why r people excited about boruto?

Do you have a father? What if your father was super busy 24/7 and the only time you ever saw him, he was already too tired to spend time with you?

The prankster part, yeah it is justified because he wants to get his father's attention, and he probably can't get it until he does something that would harm his father's reputation. IT has to end now though, I would assume after that talk Naruto had with Bolt. Because, Naruto kept playing pranks to get people's attention (and he realized that the only way to do that was to become someone admirable), whilst Bolt wanted to get his fathers attention (which I'm assuming he will grow out of once he realizes his father's words in 700(.

Looking at Naruto throughout the series Naruto never struck me as the sort of guy who would ignore his son because of duties.Also Himwara doesn't seem to share the same thoughts

This reminds me of DBGT where Trunks was made CEO of capsule corp and with a huge pile of papers on his desk and while his secretary is reading out his list of appointments he turns super saiyan and jumps out of the window Lol

Me either. It leads me to believe that the Last Naruto (when Boruto was shown hugging his father) spent time with his children, and when he became Hokage, that was over. Realistically, Naruto would want to spend his time with his children, as he understood what it felt like to want parents. Logically he can't, because now he is the father of every single man/woman that lives in Konohagakure (city too). It's pretty much shows how he has grown as a father and Hokage, towards the parallel in early Part one.

Cause Himawari is a ****ing badass (or the fact that she spends time with her mother). Bolt looked like a mamma's body in his early sketches, he was holding someone's hand and all that jazz.

Ya I'm skeptical of how they are gonna differentiate Boruto from Naruto story and development wise...
