This, A lot of people seem to forget about this.

A fight isn't all about blitzing, sniping and spamming. Other wise Lee and Guy solo all by beheading with a kunai.

Kakashi was restricted from sniping Juubi Madaras head off when he had the chance. Kishi always restricted Kakashis kamui, and it really got on my nerves. Always some unworldly force would intervene (kishis pencil), whenever Kakashi could simply snipe and neg diff you.

Almost instant? It was observed by people without sharingan, it wasn't almost instant. But it was fast.

Answer; clone feint threats I.e. Pressuring him not to attempt it at the risk of wasting chakra very badly. Or body flicker dodge, into a concealed location. These aren't counters but are checks, they prevent it from being used as a ohko on people and force him to set them up with a strategy first; but that's irrelevant. It's not an ultimate technique like that, but is very deadly and catches any slightly slow character.

But Kakashi needs to look directly at them in order to use it. So if they can distract him or make him lose focus then he can't use it at all. They are shinobi, creating distractions isn't that hard.
