After that Naruto and Sasuke were holding their ground exceptionally well before Kaguya arrived. Non-JJ Hagoromo together with his brother defeated Kaguya, while it took Naruto, Sasuke, Obito and Kakashi to do the same. Non-JJ Hagoromo could revive people and undo Edo Tensei just like that, while JJ Hagoromo can use COAT to its full potential, has complete mastery of the Rinnegan plus a RinneSharingan, created the Moon on his deathbead and has both the Sun and Moon seals. He is vastly superior to Madara.

The only person who can beat him is Kaguya.

Prime Kaguya is the neg God, she solos anything and everything. Team seven beat a pretty standard form of kaguya, juubi Jin hagoromo would destroy that form of kaguya but he gets low diff'd by prime kaguya.

JJ Hagoromo stomps. Haruma was shown with TSBs, meaning rikkudo senjutsu was a power they were born with. So Hagoromo has rikkudo senjutsu and the rinnegan before being a juubi jin, which makes the version of him that fought Kaguya the only one Madara can compete with. With the juubi, Hagoromo's power is completely superior to Madara.
