~The gap between the level of skill I have between traditional art (decent) and digital art (mediocre) is much too wide. Creating digital "masterpieces" for practice would hopefully alleviate this somewhat.

I haven't either until now. Ironically, I purchased a program once long ago, but since I didn't use it I decided on giving it away to a friend that was more artistically-inclined.

The problem I have at the moment is just not knowing the various commands on the software I use. I'll probably just take my time and check out some online tutorials to learn.
