Others have probably already pointed it out, but I just want to input my own opinions. So I just watched the recent episode of one piece and am getting less and less excited every week. At first it was the color saturation after the war and then the the way the characters looked. But when I first started watching one piece there was so much emotion and in my opinion much more passion from the people creating the anime which is what kept me a fan for so long. The reaction of Sabo's reappearance should have been more emotionally provoking in my opinion and I almost didn't care when it was revealed. It's also probably caused by the fact that these episodes have been dragging and the side characters aren't given enough depth for us to really appreciate fully. Does anyone have the same feeling of dissapointment as me? I'm not shitting on one piece I want to like it but it getting harder and harder for me to support it.

Haven't watched the anime since punk hazard. So yeah. But, is the animation quality effecting how you feel overall? The reveal of Sabo was done well to me, slighty better than the manga. (The bgm that played I liked) The pacing is just bleh, that's why I stopped.

The saturation, pacing and animation quality is what kills it for me. IMO the story hasn't lost it's touch though. I'm still enjoying the manga it's just these poor production decisions of the anime team after the time skip that holds the anime an extra step behind the quality of the manga/
Dress rosa is awesome in terms of action, but the feels aren't even as deep as Punk Hazard imo. I loved it when the G5 marines sacrificed themselves for Tashigi. In this arc the best parts so far emotionally were the back stories, both Law's and Doffy's. Also, yeah the animation is crap, I quit it for a time, but now I decided to do my best and tough it out just cuz I love the series so I won't complain that much 
Sadly I feel the same. I used to be a anime only follower of one piece, But ever since dressrossa the anime has been extremely inconsistent with its quality. + All the other negatives that have been pointed out alread.
Can someone care to explain this color saturation? Other than that, I agree. Sabo's reveal wasn't that great compared to the manga but it's because of the poor pacing. Toei doesn't care so they'll never give us a long filler arc, sadly I wish we had another studio to animate One Piece. Even Studio Pierrot treats Naruto nicely and you can expect your fav. moment in the naruto manga to be done well in the anime for the most part.
Yeah. They could do a lot better with the pacing too, but considering the anime and the manga are not that far apart it makes sense, but Dressrosa's animation has improved from the previous arcs like Fisman Island and Punk Hazard. I hope in the next arc they will make it even better.
The anime is pretty close to the manga. It's already sad enough that we're on the same arc as the manga but to be behind by only like 29 chapters is bad. Tbh, we should only be at the end of the PH arc and approaching a filler arc.
Well animation has been pretty poor in the current arc. Sabo jumping around looks awful. The art for this arc was terrible as well. I know for a fact that toei is going to give OP the DBZ:K treatment and milk it.

I can see that coming, sadly. A great manga as OP don't deserve it. I wish Oda had the power to kick their asse's and tell them to stop ruining the thing he puts all his time and effort in.

I complete agree with the points you have put across. Started OP it was a series when it was well into 700+ episodes. Each time I completed an episode I felt immersed into just as much into the dynamic story as the universe. The characters had flesh onto them. Something which extended to fodder and minor characters such as Johnny/Yosaku. However, towards the W7 there was a drop which was redeemed by EL. Fast foward to the post TS and I can say everything is a mess. There are handful of moments which stick out and have the OP feel to it. The animators either milk every den den mushi, paused silence and dramatic revelation for what it is worth or simply throw in useless filler. It now at the point where I only watch episodes where I am aware of what mahy transpire thanks to manga intel. Whoever directed Vergo vs Smoker / Doflamingo encounter with Aoikiji and the brief snippet when they teased us with Sabo's face needs to be rehired.
Ever since the end of Marineford the Anime has been terrible the pacing more than anything is what's the worst.
What's better Luffy coming out of nowhere and punching the crap out of Hody? Which happened in the Manga. Or the Anime version where Luffy takes a million years to get out of the Shark while Hody instead of finishing off Neptune just stands there like a fool then Luffy attacks?
Yes Luffy punching Hody looks amazing but all that stuff before he does is nonsense and that is what's wrong with this Anime because there are literally dozens of these examples.
Like when Zoro fights Hody in the Manga Zoro is way more awesome because they go under water and Zoro immediately owns him. Anime version they go under and fight for 10 minutes making Zoro look much weaker then he gets him with the Sword.
And they've done that a lot to making characters like Luffy and Zoro look much weaker by trying to extend fights and that really grinds my gears.
