If she was using it to heal her eyes from deteriorating (which she cant) then its shortening her life span.

Depends on how MS works, if it is something that medical ninjutsu can heal then yes, although I'm not sure if that's possible or else other Uchiha would've sought medical ninjutsu specialist or even learned medical ninjutsu.

I don't know if it can. I'm leaning over towards yes. But other than that the Byakugou seems like the best partner for MS.

She's next gen. Her father will simply study her Mom's technique, develop a safer, more efficient variant, and have her learn it (or have her copy it herself if she awakens her Sharingan). Sasuke has a lot of pride, remember. He'll never let his daughter be fodder, _even_ with Sakura as her mother.

Also, while realistically possible, improving an MS's vision through medical ninjutsu (byakugou or otherwise) may not be possible in the Narutoverse. Otherwise, numerous Uchihas of the past would have already gone that route (as it is much more obvious and less painful than killing their sibling for their eyes)
