I don't see why people are saying Kurama going on a rampage means Naruto lost. If he goes down, Kurama kills people. THat's how it works.

Anyway, Pain embarrases Naruto loosing at most 2 or 3 paths, Kurama rampages, Chibaku Tensei takes care of it which other pains are revived. Minato steps in, seals Kurama, Naruto gets negged again.

I think he mean in a diff scenario lets say Jiraiya dies of a heart attack in part too then Pain comes to konoha and Naruto is in sage mode because he learned it after part 1
