Usually guns? Wouldn't it be swords or any hand held weapon really, as guns are typically long range weapons and not ideal for close quarter combat?

One of the most major reason I despise his character, I mean every other fodder shinobi can at least try to guard himself from a punch with a composed stance but whenever Gaara is resorted to close combat, he's owned double-time...
