Not bad the fights were really good in this episode but the pacing is soooo dman slow!!!! I mean come on already finish!! Gaara vs Shira was awesome! There are boring parts so 3/5

Well it might not have been Yamashita but I was right about the animation being way better than usually, espeicially that taijutsu fight between Shira and Gaara, really good episode.

It was ok? I like Shira's team so eh I want to see what they're going to end up doing. Plus I want to see what the Leaf jounin are planning to do.

Seeing Gaara do taijutsu though was an experience.

It's a Great episode overall but my only problem is that it has retcons such as they have to nerf Neji Jyuuken like seriously how can Shira block every strikes ??? Gentle Fist are known to have high speed that can strike simultaneously plus his Byakugan gives more CQC advantages and enhancing his attack. I want to know HOW Shira can block because no one can counter Jyuuken in taijutsu fight, so even he's a taijutsu specialist, I'm interested to hear Shira ability hopefully they can make up good explanation or else if not, then it's a Plothole.

Anyway what I love in this episode is that all these sand ninjas look intimidating and all these competitors are formidable which is what I love about this chuunin filler arc. I also like Shira training with Gaara, it was a great chrolograph (I think that was a word), and Neji team are so badass.

So I'll give it a 4/5

3/5 It was good but it's slow progress. Liked the fight scenes, But don't get how Shira blocked all of Neji's hits. Judging from next episode preview it's a half Lee flashback (that we already saw) and half Lee and Shira talking, I hope I'm wrong.

Also Shiro Kudaka and Yuuri Ichinose animated this episode in different parts, I could tell when Shiro Kudaka animated because everyone's faces look a bit off.
