It's hard to imagine him dying in a battle. Only Sasuke can stand up to him.

After having freed the tailed beasts some new person comes and gains control over all 9 Bijuu(not hosting them though, pure Bijuu simply being controlled) and attacks Konoha. Naruto dies in defense of the village defeating/absorbing most of the tailed beasts leaving the 9 tails left to attack the village thus leading into a new 9 tailed host like Naruto was.

See then the story keeps repeating, Hokage gives his life protecting Konoha from 9 tails, seals 9 tail in new young child(could be Bolt could be Himawari, could be anyone not just his children) Kid grows up parts ways with 9 tails, 9 tails made to attack Konoha, Hokage sacrifice, new 9 Jin, separate, 9 tail attack, Hokage sacrifice etc. etc.

He's going to die of old age. Whether you like it or not since kishj drew Naruto as a middle aged/old guy.

It's inevitable that he would die, and that he would die a death similar to Jiraiya's. As Itachi notes, everything has a weakness, and so does Naruto.

He won't die of old age because that's unbecoming of a hero.

He'll instead go down fighting, while also being a premier cause for the eventual victory because that's how the best heroes die.

Here's a hint : It'll probably have something to do with Sasuke (but not his Will), since he's the only one who can realistically beat Naruto at this point.

Now, how do YOU think he'll die?

Note: I'm actually writing a fan-fiction spin off sequel. Naruto has to die some time. I'll be using your suggestions to think of a good arc.
At present you need an army of super powerful Ninjas,Naruto with a total of 9 Tailed Beast and the Uzumaki endurance makes it highly Impossible to kill one on one and baring disease or injuries an Uzumaki can live and be strong past one hundred years of age when everybody else is weak and feeble including Sasuke Uchiha.

I don't know about him dying. It's starting to sound like Dragonball Z to me now with some of those suggestions. I read somewhere in youtube comments that Goku was supposed to die, leaving Gohan as the main character but fans didn't like that idea. Kishi based Naruto characters off other anime too I think so it could be interesting. It'd take Sasuke usurping Naruto's title plus more but since everyone is on Narutos side..

I actually thought often about this scenario since we might get a part 3.

30-40 years after chapter 700.
Naruto is killed by a group of extremely powerful ninjas with unique abilities. Those ninjas would become the new villains.

this and then bolt steps up to revenge him

I don't think Revenge will ever come to the mind of any of Naruto's kids, simply cuz it's what Naruto tried to put an end to.

That said, with where the world was progressing, it wouldn't be impossible for Naruto to be killed.

Case 1 - Iron Man in the Avengers movie: He nearly sacrificed himself by diverting a missile (armed with a Nuclear Warhead) to another dimension. He survived because he got pulled (slowly) back to Earth (by gravity? cross-dimensional gravity?).

Case 2 - Superman in Man of Steel: He pulls off a similar stunt as Iron Man, but without the dimensions.

Case 3 - Batman in one of his Dark Knight movies (I forgot the exact one, can't be bothered to Bing): He also carried a weapon of mass destruction off in his aircraft, shown exploding later.

Exhibit A: Naruto's world has developed enough to feature smartphones and MacBook pros. While Ninjas may opt to use chakra instead, the Land of Iron may opt to develop weapons of mass destruction instead (think: Fission and Fusion bombs)

Exhibit B: Naruto's world has shown dimensions, and Naruto can't travel through them.

Conclusion: Naruto could easily die in one of those circumstances. In the case of dimensions, he could get shifted to a dimension where he could be trapped for years, coming back at the end of his sequel (even if briefly), to help his kids against their opponent (he could be to the what the sage was to him and Sasuke). Otherwise, he could get sent to a future/past where he'd realize that he was actually Kaguya's unnamed lover. Okay, that last one is a joke. lol.
