[Discussion] Should Jinbei join the Strawhats ?

I certainly hope he joins. I've always liked his character and I enjoyed his backstory in the FI arc. I also like what his relationship with Luffy represents and just how much support he gave Luffy after the MF war. His friendship with Ace makes him even better and I think he would gel with the other characters. I used to think Franky wouldn't be a good fit but definitely don't feel that way now. I hope he joins but I have a feeling it won't be anything simple.

Yes definitely! I like him as a character and prefer him over Barto or anyone else Oda showed in this arc.

He will probably join somewhere down the line at the end of current arc,could probably even save the other half of the crew that are getting chased by Big Mom.He is quite powerful and since he is an old pirate and furthermore has also traveled with Whitebeard,im certain he has much better knowledge of the NW than any of them and that is valuable info.

I really do hope they get another beautiful girl in the crew though ...already way too many guys that way it be a trio of girls just as there is the Monster trio XD

Well there is no reason for him not joining the straw Hats, but his personality is more like a revolutionary and less like a pirate. Just saying.

I think he will not join directly but he will uphold the protection of STRAW HATS pirate on Fishman Island as its Strawhats flag there instead of big mams now also its a very important entrance to new world

I don't see what role he'll have in the crew. Not the biggest fan of his charc. either.

He can be a helmsmen, something he has shown to be incredibly skilled at. He is also an immense power boost to the crew and, adds yet more diversity in an old fishman.

Just because you don't like him isn't a legitimate reason as to why he shouldn't join, because there needs to be a deeper underlying reason as to why which is actually compelling

No. I know the odds of him joining are some what high but I don't see his personality fitting so well. Ofc Oda can & will change that. Its just my thoughts of him joining now.

No, Luffy allready asked him and he declined. I doubt he is going to become a permanent member, at most he's going to be a temporary ally like Vivi or Law.

I'm a fan of him and his fighting style but it is bcoz I'm fan of this that I kinda don't want him to join.

Jimbei is a powerful fighter on the level that he wld disrupt the M3 dynamic if he is added withought any alterations to his strenght or that of the M3.
There is still the lets make it Monsterous 4 n with 12SH but how they will b placed wld still coz an issue and without alterations or being drawn back I think Jimbe is 2nd place(but I guess with Zoro being said as fast as a fishman n that Jim n Sanji tag team Oda already began his placement alterations).


The truth is I wld prefer the next SH to b female n with probably a brawler attitude or a martial artsy fighting style n though I know the chances of this r slimmer than slim I kinda liked Koala so I hope Oda models such a chick that has chances of joining. I guess Jimbe can join in the beginning or midway next saga or close of this one.
