All it does is allow the user to access more Magic Enery (Eternano)

Erza didn't had Second Origin prior to GMG arc. She unlocked her along with Natsu and co.

I'm sure Laxus already has that. It's more like time for him to use his DF mode.

She was aware, but this is beside the point: Laxus, Gildarts and Makarov definitely have second origin, and he probably used it when fighting Jura Neekis

To what you refer when you say she was aware. Prior to meeting with Ultear, she never showed second origin nor did she said something like "Hey, I already have it" when Jellal mentioned it.

Second Origin is container of magic power. To be strong you don't need to have that second origin/second container, you could just have first container full of the magic.

From what we now it can be awaken only by Arc of Time magic. And Arc of Time is ancient magic, likely Ultear is only one who can use it, or at very least there are few mages in the world that can use it. I doubt all high ranking characters met with an Arc of Time user.

Ultear mentioned that it can be unlocked through natural progression, Arc of Time simply sped up this process for the others. Having Gildarts and Makarov both at some point claiming to be at the "heights of magic" means they've most definitely unlocked it. Since Jura is ranked just one place below the Gods of Ishgal (and we've seen Warrods IMMENSE amount of magic power by growning a f*king continent sized tree within seconds), it's safe to assume that Jura and anyone who can go toe to toe or in fact defeat him can use second origin.

We know you don't have to have second origin to be strong, but you need to be strong to have second origin, and what's more we've seen the insane power boost it gives mages. Natsu through just having second origin unlocked was able to dominate TWO dragon slayers that would've otherwise easily defeated a pre TS Natsu in a 1 v 1 battle

Actually, she said that recent studies discovered that second container (and I'm sure it wouldn't be recent if Gildarts or Makarov has it).
