Full Metal Panic! soloes. It's also got some mecha stuff thrown in there.

IMDb rated School Rumble higher.

Yeah I saw that but I like Baka to test plot more. Here it is:

The story centers around a boy named Akihisa Yoshii, the titular baka (idiot) of the story. He attends Fumizuki Academy in Japan, a school where the staff rigidly divides the students based on the results of their academic scores. At the start of the school, students are academically sorted by entrance exam test grades. The higher the grades, the higher the class, and the better the benefits. In this case, Class A is filled with the highest-scoring students; therefore, their classroom is filled with many prestigious items (air conditioners, fancy seats, laptops, a free snack bar, etc.), while the state of Class F is the complete opposite of that, representing the "bottom of the barrel" amenities, such as mats and low wooden tables. The story also loosely revolves around the love triangle consisting of Mizuki Himeji (an intelligent girl who was forced into Class F just because of a fever), Minami Shimada (a transfer student from Germany who struggles with kanji very much), and Akihisa, their crush.

Fumizuki Academy has a special system, whereby all the students are able to call forth Summoned Beings. These Beings are used for battles between classes with the goal of capturing (or retaining) the best classroom facilities

Toradora, D-Frag, Sket Dance are a few you might want to try.

Yet you say this on a Naruto fansite that's much more popular Lol

Naruto solos GG.

You just admitted that because you're a fan of Naruto, and because it's much more popular, it therefore makes it better. I hope that you yourself can understand why that's an absolutely asinine thing to say.

FMP! >> Naruto.

Tenma was annoying. Harima, Eri, and Imadori saved that series.

Baka to test was pretty funny. I don't think there was character that I didn't like.

If you are not allergic to suggestive humor ( not ecchi, but sexual jokes), Seitokai Yakuindomo, best yonkoma comedy since School rumble. ( between the two of the choice, I'll go with School rumble, the epicness of this series is close to legendary)

For FMP, only the first part of the series is really fun. The second party ( FMP sigma, manga only) is much more mature content and sometimes a little trash. But if you don't mind that kind of thing, it's a good reading ( If you like stuff like M rated manga, I have lot of good titles ;) )

Ahhh, it's a really tough decision for me because both made me crack up. I never finished school rumble for whatever reason, but I did finish Baka to Test. Baka is really colorful and has some great coloring styles. School rumble, as someone said, does look kind of older, but it doesn't change the fact of how hilarious it is. Both have very catchy opening and endings to the episodes as well.

Watch both!
