After a month or two break from making any type of tag/signature, I decide to bring it back with a smudge tag. (To this day I still don't know the difference between a tag and a signature).

Cnc would be appreciated. I am aware I have rusted. Quite a bit actually. Oh well. I was debating whether or not I should make the render smaller too. Commenting on that would be nice.

(Side note: Imgur decreases the quality of images. This honestly looked better on PS)

Update on the Massive Avatar Thread:
That thread should be uploaded on Valentine's day. Personal issues and stress (including school finals) withheld me from ever posting it. The reason I'm not posting it any sooner now is because I decided to change a few of the avatars. Wasn't too impressed with some of them. That's it really.

There is no difference between "tag" and "signature" they both mean the same thing lol, some people call them sigs others call them tags.

Anyway not too bad mate, it looks more like you liquified it rather than smudged it. But anyway I think the smudging could use more detail. Tbh when making a smudge tag even if you use a render the smudging is supposed to be the star of the piece, so yeah you need to keep that in mind for next time.

The colors are good, but there could be a bit of yellow in the smudging as well to compliment the renders hair. I also think it needs a stronger light source, when I look at the lighting on the renders head then compare it to the light source they are completely different.

Yes I think you have the render too large, it takes away from the smudging tbh. Smudging is one style where you can get away with making the render smaller than you normally would. I also would have shuffled it to the left a bit more.

Maybe blur that hand a bit as well to give it some depth. All in all not a bad job for rusty crayons, but this was just a bit of CnC for future smudges:)

Is BG smudged? Hmmm...

I would say that render should be smaller and smudge (if that was smudge in the first place) should have better colors. Other than that I do agree with what poster above me said.

Good job! KIU! *_*

Honestly, the entire thing seems somewhat squished or cluttered.
There isn't really a focal point, the flow could be defined better, lighting could be better etc.

Pay attention to certain details when you smudge.
It looks good, anyways, so KIU.

This doesn't really seem like much of a smudge to me. The background doesn't look like its smudged but more of liquefied like BeastBomb said. It looked like you just used the smudge tool and dragged out some parts of the render and tried to get it to blend in with the background which kinds of ruin it in my opinion. And yeah, you should have made the signature try to match with the hair a bit as well. I give it a 2.5/5 though. I can see you becoming a badass in the future. u.u

The smudged render being blended in with the background was kind of confusing. There was originally no background. That is the background.
Thanks for the CnC.

Thank you.

Well, my style of smudging is just me smudging the render. I should probably look for colors that complement and manually add it in.
Thanks for the CnC.
