I think you are the one who should read the manga. You cannot compare Sakura with Guy.. Lol. The fact is, none-eyed Madara soloed Hashirama in any seconds. It means Madara Jin definitely beats Hashirama. Guy was able to hit Madara even with 7th Guy. Madara couldn't dodge Guy's attacks. Juubi powers, Rinnegan and Hashirama's Sage Mode couldn't react to 7th Guy's kick and punch. Guy can just use Hirudora to spread the battlefield and during that time he can easily open the last Gate.

Those aren't counter arguments...what the heck does Gai have to do with Onoki's Jiton...Hirudora is a one-shot technique that leaves gai temporarily disabled. Clones can hide underground and use Jutsu you know...and roots can come from underground to keep him distracted. Keeping him busy with Kyuubi sized Mokuton constructs is also an option. Hashirama can perform his tech quickly, including entering Sage Mode.

That is the point. Madara screwed around and fought Gai on his own terms...why did he intentionally handicap himself, when he could've easily taken Gai out had he used his Nin/Gen Jutsu?

Simply because 8th Gate means Gai dies as well [what means a victory for Gai is impossible] but given the fact that Madara knew about the Gates, Hashirama should have Intel on it too.

Hashirama with Kyuubi? You definitely mistunderstood the meaning of this thread. Watch the fight when Hashirama used Sage Mode against Madara EMS. How long does it takes for him to open the SM? That was actually quite som time before he entered it since it has shown that Guy can instantly go into 6th and 7th Gates, and you are saying Guy cannot go into 8th Guy because Hashirama has Wood and clones? Lel, do you think Guy will just stand there and watch Hashirama performs jutsus?
Hirudora was much more bigger than the turtle, and Hirudora even shot down Mokuton's strength when Guy blasted Madara away.

To give Gai a fighting chance, you must have him start in at least 7th Gate. But since you practically put him under normal conditions, he'll start in Base.

Guy isn't blitzing hashi with the 6th or 7th gate. Plus, even if he could, none of his techniques are an issue for Hashirama's healing. Once hashi stars making clones, it's gg for guy.
Guy is a very powerful ninja, but he is really one dimensional, anyone with a good clone technique like hashi's wood clones or kakashi's lighting clones, or genjutsu for that matter, is gonna beat guy.
