Sage-powered KCM Naruto was able to give Toneri a good beating. RSM Naruto, a superior version, would stomp him to no end. That's not even including Rinnegan Sasuke, who has just as much power as Naruto was given. So Toneri wouldn't a chance

Remember: Kaguya tried to kill her own children to steal their chakra. To Kaguya blood meant nothing. So probably the reason why Toneri only appeared 2 years later (including othet stuffes) was because he scared from Kaguya.
