Shueisha is apparently planing to begin selling new Wano-centric merchandise in October. Given the fact that we already have Kin'emon and co. merchandise, it probably means they're talking about new characters. So by October, we're going to see Wano.

It also means Zou will probably be a short arc. So it probably means Dressrosa will last to around roughly September this year. Definitely the longest arc

We're getting to the climax of the arc though. Since there is only 3 chapters this month, Diamanté vs Kyros or Trebol vs whomever should be over by the end of this month. Then the 3 top executives should all be down by the beginning of May. Then it's just Doflamingo vs Luffy.

This proves nothing, The 'Wano characters' could very well be just momo and Kin'emon. figurines are always pretty late compared to manga. But more importantly I doubt the publishers would reveal this kind of news like this, I mean why would Oda tell them well I plan to be done with Dressrosa in September, why is it interesting to them if Oda is done in September, October or July with that arc.

And lastly there is no reason to go to Wano as of now.

1) First is Sanji and Big mom situation
2) Zou and Law's crew situation
3) Big mom tea party and bomb
4) Kaidou war and stopped production of smile fruit

These are all possible scenarios to happen next, but there is no need for the sh's to go to Wano as of now ?

Is Wano interesting because it is a samurai country and Zoro wants to go ? Well Elbaf is a giant country and Usopp wants to go since part 1 and we still haven't seen it.

1- Usopp isn't a fighter and doesn't have that great of a goal to accomplish. He even stated himself in W7 that he didn't necessarly wanted to travel this far. The Elbaf situation is like a secondarily situation/standpoint that could be resolved at any point of the manga without particular hurry
2- Although part of the Dressrosa monster trio, Usopp isn't a trigger of one piece
3- I don't remember Zoro saying he wanted to go there. He just showed interest just like Brook as well. Kinemon and Momo are from there as well. Unless you think Kinemon and Momo will become strawhats or travel with them through multiple arcs before going back home

It was actually stated that it was his favorite island, not that it was his only island or that he was living on it.

Also, the Strawhats had no business in Fishman Island, Skypeia or even Dressrosa until they either got there because it was along the way or because someone took them there. Part of their adventure is simply enjoying themselves and simply adventuring, Zoro and Brook's interest in Wano is enough for them to go there. Momo and Kinemon is enough for them to go there.

I don't see how it can last that long though. Is something big going to happen on Dressrosa for us to be waiting that long? There are only like 5 fights remaining. Unless Luffy and Law vs Doflamingo last for over 20 something chapters, I have no idea how it can be dragged out that long. Well Oda said DR would be more exciting so something obviously is going to happen.

Also I wouldn't say we should use wano merchandise coming in October as a basis for the arc to come in September. We could be four months in to the Wano arc before we get merchandise.

Luffy vs Bellamy 1 chapter

Prime Time Fight:
Luffy vs Doflamingo which could be 3-4 chapters

Wano kuni could be a possible next destination, for all sorts of reason that oda might invent. When it comes to Oda, you cannot be sure what he will draw out from that twisted hat of his xD

They had business on FI because it was the only way to reach the NW
They had business on skypeia because their log pose led them to there, so they needed to go there
And Law took them to Dressrosa

But each and every one of those islands had a reason to go there, and like I said before there are at least 3 different destinations that have more priority than Wano. Whole cake island, Zou and Kaidou metal island.

If Wano is such a strong and independent samurai island that doesn't like outsiders and isn't familiar with outside culture very much, I doubt someone like Kaidou is chilling there because that wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Also how would the sh's pick their next island ? they are stuck with the 3 way log pose and unless they can find an eternal pose for Wano how would they navigate to there.

And why would Momo and Kin'nemon take them there ? Please come to our country that doesn't like outsiders and please guy with the green hair bring the katana that you stole from one of our people's heroes grave. There are more pressing matters on hand than a roadtrip to take momo and his caretakers home.
