In any case, authorial intent is irrelevant, just as it always is in any scenario.

If I were to accept authorial intent at every turn, I'd be saying Sakura is equal to BM Naruto and EMS Sasuke or that Naruto and Sasuke are equal in power or that Kakashi is actually strong w/o Sharingan or that Bolt and Himawari have Byakugan or that Itachi totally isn't a Gary Stu or that Kaguya was an actual threat to humanity or that Neji is a Genius Shinobi and had a great death or that Naruto is a hardworker who achieved everything by nothing but the aforementioned method

If so, let me request you this in return: Sakura has yet to show she can use the Yin Seal to Heal her own body. Post scans of her healing her body w/ Yin Seal or it doesn't count.

How is my claim of saying Child Tsunade > YS Sakura point to me saying that ? If anything, it only shows that Tsunade has gotten even MORE powerful.

I see now, still, It's not certain the age that Tsunade had when Hashirama died.
Plus he might have been comparing their potential since It's clear that Tsuna mastered Byakugou at an older age than Sakura.
(The scans in Part 1 of her back story about Dan and her brother, where she and her Teammates seem quite older than the 16 year old Sakura. Tsunade doesn't have the seal.)

Sadly, it's not there for you to believe. While somethings are not true feat-wise; the author's words still count. So if Kishi said that Sakura was equal to Naruto and Sasuke at one point then so be it. Everything that you stated is true. Kakashi is pretty strong without the sharingan (though not kage level, tbh, still strong none-the-less), Neji is a genius shinobi, and Naruto is a hard worker, even though he received some power-ups. As I just stated in the first sentence, it's not for you to believe, it's there to be the truth.
