Redeeming qualities of him saving her does not really illustrate why you should love someone. Protecting a teammate is not important in the Ninja world, as most shinobi do that anyway.

The feelings had to grow into something less superficial, and that was never shown.

Actually that's more than enough when she already had feelings for him.

The person she liked was protecting her, naturally that will encourage her feelings to grow.

Sakura had a crush on him and Naruto was his friend in-denial, with time Sakura's feelings grew into love, and Naruto's bond of friendship grew stronger.

2 separate characters, each with a different role in Sasuke's life, don't mix.

Naruto committed to getting back Sasuke as much or more than Sakura. He took a beating for him , he hyperventilated for him, he even got poisonously stabbed for him. Oh lets also add the arm injury.

What you just said here does not do justice to how much Naruto committed in getting SasuSaku to happen. Meaning I could say the same thing as you if I wanted. Since NaruSasu's relationship was far more developed than NaruHina or Sasusaku.

He cared about Sakura, just as he would of cared about Naruto/Kakashi if they got hurt on his watch. That's why he said "I'll never let another one of my comrades get hurt!"

3. You are right, she only loves him because of his looks, and she never explained in the manga why she felt stronger emotions to him besides him looking great.

If you want to convince me that NaruSasu's relationship is the most developed and strongest in the manga then I already agree with you, but their bond is about friendship and not romantic.

If your point is that Naruto did most of the work towards the end and got Sasuke back for Sakura then I also agree with you, because unfortunately Kishi made Sakura helpless regarding this issue.

She saw his life of how he was alone and his descent into darkness made her love stronger

Sasuke has never specifically said he likes Sakura.Thats true but you must have seen his smirk after Sakura got her powerup.Its very subtle with him

He was there with him when he first faced Haku and he experienced firsthand the beginning of his dark path, but his love never wavered and he endured until Sasuke came back. I find that respectable.

The answer you gave was not truly convincing since anyone can easily change it to NaruSasu if they wanted to. That is the result of love without a reason.
