no they arent. and they arent canon either(though many consider the last as canon....)
you get to see sasuke in Bonds, even though they only met once in canon until the kage summit arc

No, they're not sequels or the such with each other. But I prefer to watch them in order as it'll give you a sense of watching Naruto grow and progress throughout every movie; also because of character continuity, as in their character design or some sort, which usually will dictate which period the movie is coming from from the manga/anime. Just preference.

Those two are faaaar the BEST movies in the entire Naruto franchise!
