This is an easy technique which doesn't requires any hand seals, User firstly forms chakra by molding his mental and physical energy and then the user applies nature transformation to that chakra and turns it in to Raiton chakra then User sends that chakra in to both of his hands and then the user releases it and as the user releases it , he applies shape manipulation to it and makes it glow purple and which moves forward like a stream which knocks down our opponent and gives them shock, its drawback is that it can go much more further because its range is limited.

Description: After performing a small sequence of 3 hand seals the user will place their hand on the ground converting their chakra in to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of electricity that cuts through the ground in the direction of the enemy. The shape of the bolt is a triangular with the base in the direction of the user and the tip headed towards the target. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

After weaving 3 handsigns, you place your hand on the ground, and gather lightning chakra while you do it. Keeping your hand in the specific position, you form lightning and manipulate it to form a massive bolt of electricity, which has cutting properties, and rips through the ground as it travels. Along with cutting properties, it has electrocuting properties too. The bolt is triangular in shape, with the tip of the bolt, i.e. the sharp part pointed towards the opponent and the wider part pointed towards the user. It carves up a large area in the ground as it travels, and being pretty high ranked, it can rip through S-Ranked Earth defenses with ease, and other objects. It also possesses a tremendous amount of heat, along with having the usual properties of lightning, i.e. electrocuting and numbing, so when the opponent is hit by it, his internal organs get fried and destroyed.

This technique is not easy nor complicated because it requires 3 hand seals, after waving the hand seals user molds his mental and physical energy and forms chakra then the user applies nature transformation to that chakra and turns it in to Raiton chakra and then user slams his hands on the ground and releases his Raiton chakra and then user applies shape manipulation to that chakra and shape it in a bolt of lightning triangular shape with a pointed tip which is able to pierce through our opponent , user need to keep their hands on the ground to maintaim the traingular shaped bolt, this technique can easily pierce through or destroy S-Ranked earth defense and therw are disadvantages too like it can only go upto Mid range and like all the stream based we can't perform another jutsu while performing this.

This involves chidori and all it's variants.

Method 3: Melee

This method involves Chidori and its variants like Nagashi and spear, etc. Explaining Chidori will basically outline the rest. This is simply another shape+nature manipulation technique. Channel the raiton chakra in your hand; concentrate it so that the vibrations are so much so that they create the sound of chirping birds. The high amount of vibrations gives you a tremendous increase in power making the basic chidori technique capable of peircing straight through flesh and bone and even harder substances. Then the variants only have some slight modifications, however they all start with the creation of an initial Chidori in the palm (note: this does not mean you have to use Chidori before you use any of the variants) The modification is generally some general form of shape manipulation or merely an enhancement or sudden release of the built up energy from Chidori.

The quote explains how a Chidori is formed. Before we start the techs in method 3, we obviously have to start with Chidori. Tell me what Chidori is, and how it is formed. Once you tell me that, you can understand how it's variants are formed. Basically, this method involves chidori and its various forms. Watch videos, read scans, basically anything and tell me how Sasuke formed Chidori.

Chidori is originally Kakashi Hatake's own technique, in which the user channels his lightning chakra to his dominant hand, due to the amount of the chakra it is clearly visible to naked eye and it also sounds like thousand birds are chirping due to the vibration, thats why it got the name "One Thousand Birds". Chidori is capable of piercing, and can destroy any earth defense easily, it can kill anybody by a single blow at the vital parts of our opponents' body. Kakashi created it by a mistake when he was combining his lightning chakra in to Rasengan. There is a drawback too, which is that it requires speed, and user needs to run in a straight line which cause a tunnel like vision which makes it difficult to track our opponents' moves. Later on Kakashi and Sasuke using their Sharingan, removed the drawback, there was one more drawback which is the usage limit, Sasuke in part 1 could use it only 2 times and Kakashi could use it four time.

Description: The user must first perform the following sequence of hand seals Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey and they will then focus lightning chakra into their hand to create a lightning jutsu that is concentrated in the user's palm and thrusted toward the opponent at high speed. The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.
Note: Uchiha Sasuke and Kakashi Hatake bios can use the technique without handseals

Behold, the second lightning technique shown in the manga. After weaving a long set of handseals, you gather a large amount of lightning chakra in the palm of your right hand. After gathering your chakra, you focus it at one point, meaning you channel all your chakra at one point, and condense it highly using shape manipulation to form a whitish-blue sphere of lightning in your palm which glows brightly. Due to the massive chakra concentrated all at one point, it gives off the sound of a thousand birds chirping at once, and it possess high frequency vibrations, electricity branching off the central point of focus. This, as you know, can be used to perform high penetration and piercing thrusts, as well as super and concentrated damage. When you pierce an opponent with it, it forms a large amount of damage at one singular point, and can easily rip through his/heart with ease. The downside is that it only can do focused damage, so it doesn't cover a large area, but makes it up with the piercing power it possesses.

This is a really powerful technique which requires a lot of hand seals that might make it difficult to perform in a battle but is one got a Lightning speciality he can perform it with using a single hand seals i.e. Ox and for those who got a Kakashi or a Sasuke bio they can use it without any hand seals, it has a good amount of power plus piercing power, the drawback of this technique that we have to run in a straight line which gives user a tunnel like view in which his peripheral vision doesn't work that makes it difficult to see things/moves of our opponent.
This technique is performed by channeling a large amount of lightning chakra at his right hand after performing the large set of hand seals , User channels this much chakra that his chakra is clearly visible in a form of a sphere like thing with lightning here and there, then the user runs towards his opponent and strikes his hand in to opponents body/vital part and pierce through them. and end up killing them.

Alright. Since, you've learnt to perform Chidori, which is required for all other techniques in this methods, I'll lay the advantages and disadvantages:

Advantages of Method 3

These techniques are great techniques to use in a fairly close combat setting. Though they’re ninjutsu techniques, they’re heavy taijutsu complimenting techniques. The basic chidori or Raikiri engulfs the entire hand and possess some degree of discharge. As well, the variants like current, spear, and senbon adds versatility to the element and allows for techniques to expand in range.

Disadvantages of Method

Though the variant techniques allow for the techniques in this method to extend in range, these ranged techniques generally lack in power. Chidori and Raikiri are powerful techniques, they are the base for the rest of the techniques in this method and they are short ranged. They are taijutsu compliments which means to avoid/get around these techniques, all one has to do is effectively get out of range. For the variants, there is not a large range for width wise with these attacks. They are mainly for the sake of reaching what they couldn’t reach before and there may not be a lot of general power behind them. All these techniques are A-ranked minimum and are high level techniques but higher level doesn’t necessarily mean their emphasis is on power. That fact allows for these techniques to be exploited to that degree.

Well, if you have Lightning as your primary specialty, you can perform Chidori with a single handseal. Chidori almost forms in about say, 2-3 seconds.
