For Naruto, if his parents Minato and Kushina were to back back to life via Edo Tensei, man oh man they would not be pleased at all. Kushina would have a literal field day with her son to say the least. LOL.

- Instead of sending someone else to handle Boruto he goes for him himself.
- Instead of leaving his son behind he agrees with his son to help cleaning his prank.
- Encourages his son to wait just a little longer because there's time for everything.

Suuuuure, because Naruto should spoil his son to a rotten child who don't have respect not even to his mother (Mantaro from Kinnikuman Nisei) would be muuuuuch better right?

Like all children in reality, Boruto must learn that he can't always be with his father and there are times when he must wait. Because let's face it: until Naruto was genin/non-Hokage, they could be much more together.

And about "why he don't use clones", the answers are simple:
- Clones are fake and children are not satisfied with fakes.
- Sending clones to the national summits like Gokage Summit is a direct insult to the other kages and nations (and kages are easily can detect clones).
- Making important jobs with clones would make peope believe that Naruto is a cheap and easy person and this would make people turn their back to him.

And before you come with Goku from Dragon Ball, what was Goku's job? Lawyer? Officier? Seller? Prime Minister? Oh, yeah, he didn't had any job.

Shikadai's father is just as busy as Boruto's but Shikadai doesn't pull pranks for attention. Konohamaru and Iruka both recognized what Boruto was doing and let Naruto handle it.
