Up until the end he wanted to be with her. For ****s sake he didn't even consider Hinata as a candidate until Sakura spelled it out for him.

Both Naruto and Sakura stated that his crush on her was nothing but delusion and only a rivalry thing with Sasuke. Kishi even stated that Naruto has a pale crush on Sakura. Hinata is Naruto 1st true Love.

If kishi did it right this ending would have been good. Leave it open ended and had given me an action packed final movie that involved all my babies and not that BS.

NS would have been a better ending though it's obvious because the guy said he developed NS so much to trick us apparently so we were fooled up to the end if he did it it would have been a good ending because it flowed.

Naruto would've grown out of his crush and chose to be with Hinata. Like he did in the manga. His affections for Sakura never amounted to anything, despite all the time they spent together. Sakura's heart was set on Sasuke and Naruto never pursued Sakura in a romantic way.

True to that. All of the pairings are atrocious to say the least. None of them were developed at all. NaruHina only had development in the very end and The Last proves that to be correct.

Kishi is literally someone that I simply cannot trust a thing out of his mouth lately. Ranging from pairings to what he said about one of my favorite characters in the entire Naruto series, Neji Hyuuga.

Kishi also said that he planned on SasuSaku early on as well in that very same interview. Hence why I call BS on that whole interview. So he spends most of the manga developing a red herring whereas he develops NaruHina little to none? Yeah right!

Speaking of pairings, Kishi also said in an interview that he wouldn't go into Shikamaru's romantic life and slightly indicated that ShikaTema would not ever happen, yet it did.

These interviews are very contradicting to say the least and also can be filled with asspull statements as well.

For instance, Kishi also said at one point that he planned the entire Naruto ending early on as well in another interview, but look at how rushed it is. Does he honestly expect me to believe that he planned the ending that we got since the early 2000's? Things change over the course of a decade, there is no way in hell that he had most of the ending figured out way before the 2010's began. At most, he probably had Naruto vs. Sasuke and Naruto becoming Hokage in mind when it came to the Naruto ending and that was it. Everything else was an asspull as far as the eye can see. In truth, I honestly believe that Kishimoto is simply covering up his tracks so to speak. A habit that a lot of Mangaka's and authors in the West have a bad habit of doing.

I am not in denial, I am simply pointing out the truth when it comes to a lot of stuff like this. Take the creators of Legend of Korra for instance, they said that they had planned KorrAsami since sometime after season 2. BS, there was no indication of that throughout the last two seasons at all. So like Kishi, they are simply covering up their tracks as well.

Again I say, it's a common trait that writers have these days and it needs to stop!

Really? Have you seen The Last: Naruto The Movie, because I have and I know what I am talking about. Also, if you were to have read the two thirds of my post, then you would know full well that I am not in denial at all. I also talked about the other stuff that Kishimoto said such as Shikamaru and Temari, how he supposedly planned the Naruto ending from near the beginning, etc.

I even made a staunch comparison to Kishimoto and the Creators of Legend of Korra when it came to both the endings of their series' and the pairings that came along with them in my post and it seems to me that you ignored all of that.

All that you quoted from was the first portion of my post and that was all it took for you to conclude that I am in denial. I take it that that was pretty much where you stopped reading my post and then went on to quote me. Typical of that of people on NB however, truth be told.

the friendzoning was mutual since part 1, that's what narusaku fans missed and why Kishi played with them, somehow they asked for that awful red herring crap and to be milked like cows.

I don't think Sakura friendzoned Naruto. She simply loved someone else. Naruto friendzoned Hinata for most of the Manga, though, same way Sasuke friendzoned Sakura.

Loving someone else != friendzoning another.

Anyway, the epilogue showed both friendzones being overcome, so I guess that's partly what Kishi had in mind. A woman's love > friendzone.

You can't friendzone someone when you're already in love with someone else, that's just called being devoted and faithful. Not to mention that, from the start of the series, Naruto has made his feelings very obvious, while Sakura's continuously rejected him, which goes against the whole notion of friendzone - confessing after years of friendship, only to be classified as ''just a friend''. There's a fine line between not having any romantic feelings for somebody and establishing him/her as a friend.

If what you're asking is ''if Sakura returned Naruto's feelings'', then they would've most likely became a couple. Naruto never noticed Hinata even after her direct confession, so him hopping on to his first crush/love would have been the apparent scenario. Whether their relationship would last nobody can say for sure.
