Nope Naruto fell in love with her without sakura input. Sakura was encouraging Hinata the entire film. According to Sakura, Naruto feelings for her werent even genuine, just another rivalry thing with Sasuke.:)

Well, one thing's for sure, they would have at least dated. Beyond that, it's up to a crap ton of other factors. Would his relationship with Sakura live up to his expectations? Would this encourage Hinata to make a move before he gets serious with Sakura? Would Naruto decide that Hinata is better for him?

I mean if you wish to believe that then I'll let you hold onto it but the fact is that Naruto showed no romantic interest in Hinata for 699 chapters.

And? Sasuke showed no romantic interest in Sakura for 699 chapter. Naruto is a shounen manga, anyone reading it for romance is a moron.

Facts is your precious Sakura herself stated his feelings for her weren't legit and Naruto silently agrees.Naruto never loved Sakura, his feelings were just another lie he delusioned himself into with his rivalry with Sasuke.

NH needed a movie to become canon.SS became canon in 699.

Doesn't really matter Naruto only loved hinata, truly loved. Movie confirms that Naruto never truly meant love with sakura, confirmed by sakura.
