Karin would have been a great Anbu Shinobi.

Sure, why not? With proper training, anyway. We've actually seen ninjas with little more than sensory skills in various high ranking positions after all.

To be fair, seeing as she said maybe, it was a bit of luck. E.g. if i was to say "He'd do this maybe" and it was to happen, it doesnt mean i'm psychic.

As a matter of fact, she knew for sure that the squad contained animals by sensing that their chakra Signatures differed from that of Humans; she was able to tell that it was a 'dog' by concluding that dogs are the most suitable animals for tracking missions, and that’s how she was able to formulate a proper plan so that she can prevent Konoha from finding them . I suppose it took more than mere fluke.
@OP, I agree, she would be suited of being an excellent Anbu member considering all her special abilities, She 's someone who was supervising a prison and shown to be able to hide tools inside of their glasses after all. xD

Any proof of this? The only fair point brought up here.

They're making it seem more complex when Karin does it without thinking, making it non-complex.

Karin's natural instinct told her their was a dog, and her instinct was 100% correct.

No skill involved just natural raw talent.

A manga scan explicitly stating what I said? No, I don't have any...
but, what i said was based on what the manga shows;
-Karin stating that the chakra she's sensing isn't that of a human, then by using a little of common sense, she could tell that it was of a dog. She built a plan upon what she gathered, she wasn't hesitating one bit in carrying it out, she didn't have the attitude of someone that is basing their decisions upon luck only.
this is how I see it anyways.

Well at least youre not being arrogant about it. I actually agree quite a lot and ive thought of that too. I was just saying that if anything it was about 95% logic, 5% luck.
