manga logic was crashed many times, it's not new at all Lol
and basically yep, all the Hyuuga had it but the main branches are more pure of course so the chakra is not transmitted in the same amount between all Hamura's descendants apparently.
nothing illogical here, that's probably why Neji was so good if you think about it, my first though was he could have been Hamura's reincarnation but it's not the case since Hinata met Hamura's soul meaning he was not reincarnated or he would have told her about it for sure.

you can inherit only a part of it never the entire thing except if you are a reincarnation of a certain being
Naruto and Sasuke are different, they have Asura and Indra chakra entirely because they are reincarnations and because Hagoromo gave them his own chakra to awoke his children chakras and powers full mode.
they were born with it, still they never used it before Hagoromo appeared but it doesn't mean they didn't have any chakra before it happened, right?

Hinata is not a reincarnation, her Hamura's chakra is like her byakugan: only a peculiar trait transmitted via dna but she had more of it than Toneri because the main branch is way more pure in term of powers and chakra from their common ancestor unlike the 2nd branch from both the Earth and Moon clans.
that's why Toneri needed a byakugan from her clan and from the main branch, his own byakugan was sealed in the Tenseigan weapon yep but the main problem was about purity levels really.
the Tenseigan eye need a pure byakugan as a source to be awaken and since Toneri's clan killed the entire main branch of the Moon a long time ago...
he had no other choice than to rob one from the clan on Earth, that's why he took Hanabi's eyes and wanted Hinata to become his personal baby machine (his plan was to destroy the Earth and the Moon, they would have been the only survivors, Adam and Eve 2.0).

blue chakra is a choice from SP period!!!
this movie is the first one where more canon colors are shown, the only exception is you can see one blue rasengan for Naruto when he's fighting against a puppet (they also forgot his bandages twice, when he's eating ramen and with his kids at the end of the movie).
Hinata's chakra was most probably always purple just like Minato, it was simply never shown in the manga neither the anime and never said in databooks unlike him.
she was born with Hamura's chakra so the color will clearly never change suddenly unlike Naruto going from yellow (his chakra) to orange (mixing his chakra with Kurama red chakra).
Toneri chakra is light green (just like the healing technique) btw but in Hamura sage mode using the Tenseigan eye, his chakra looks more turquoise so clearly the color can only change if something different is happening aka mixing 2 chakras or entering sage mode or something equivalent Lol
also when Hinata and Naruto mixed their chakras in the movie (happened twice), the contact zone is PINK and sorry but irl if you mix purple + yellow or even orange, you will never obtain pink.
so yeah SP made their choices but this is the first time they respected the canon colors we already know thx to the official sources like the databooks.

The main branch of Hyuuga are born with his power, not his chakra. Just as Uchiha are born with Indra's power, but only Madara and Sasuke are actually born with his chakra. Transmigration doesn't exist on Hamura's side, because he never had two warring sons whose determined wills would see their chakra live on in others.

The color of her chakra doesn't mean anything, Naruto wasn't surprised when he saw the new colour of her chakra, but in the manga he has seen her chakra before. The thing is the anime is not canon, and The Last is.
Plus, Naruto had his chakra colour changed too, he could perform yellow Futon Rasen Shurikens without using a cloak, which in the anime are always blue and white, and in the same scene he used a blue Rasengan too.
So no, chakra colours doesn't mean sh*t in this movie.
And Hinata can't fly either, for the bs people out there Lol.

she explained to Naruto that the Tenseigan altar is cursed using Hamura's chakra, only someone with Hamura's blood aka his dna like a direct descendant can touch it and she's one of them=>

she couldn't destroy the Tenseigan so Naruto asked her to infuse him with her chakra so he can touch it too and they can combine their attacks to destroy it, making it pretty clear that chakra is also inherited by blood or dna.
if chakra and dna were not related, infusing him with her chakra would have done nothing for them!!!
the Tenseigan altar is protected using Hamura's chakra so it only recognize a person linked to him, that's why Naruto could touch it because Hinata's chakra is mixed with Hamura's chakra via her dna.
Naruto used her as a shield, that's why his rasengan is inside her unique lion fist btw, you can see they turned their hands so Hinata's will protect Naruto and share continuously her chakra with him during the combo attack.

imo it simply means they have a huge concentration level of Hamura's chakra in their dna and that only their byakugan can evolve into the Tenseigan eye, if they have everything required to start the process of course.
it's all about breeding really, some dogs are more wolf like than others, that's why they are called ancient/primitive (like the akita or the malamute) but all dogs have some wolf dna in them at a certain level, it's just more diluted.

Where was it said all the Hyuga have Hamura's chakra ? As far as we know, only Hinata and Toneri have it, and Toneri only has it through the reemerging Hyuga+Ootsutsuki chakra, just like how Ahsura+Indra = Hagoromo chakra . So how does Hinata have it?
Chakra has never been inherited, claiming the Hyuga clan has Hamura's chakra may be true in the same context as saying the Uzumaki has Hagoromo's chakra, but it's not in the same context as saying Naruto has Hagoromo's chakra.
Chakra isn't transmitted through DNA, only way that happens is through Transmigration.

Hinata's hair is Dark blue in the anime, but Admiral blue in the manga. Movie depicts it as Dark Blue.
Hinata's eyes are Pinkish-white in the anime, but PURE white in the manga. Move depicts it as Pinkish-white.
So it's clear the movie is following the coloration of the anime and NOT the manga, in which case, Hinata's chakra would be blue, yet it's purple.
Naruto never touched the Tenseigan, he only helped power up Hinata's attack.
Toneri had Hamura's chakra through remerging his bloodlines, Hyuga/Ootsutsuki, just as it is w/ remerging Indra/Ashura to get Hagoromo's chakra. How would Hinata have it then ?

Dude, I was the one who introduced this argument, and after seeing the movie, I don't see any evidence of higher chakra reserves. Let it go. If she has biju-level reserves, it's from natural training. She didn't receive anything. I can only assume that what she was doing was coating Naruto so that he could unleash Kurama's chakra again. Regardless, the movie makes it clear that she's improved drastically and is a powerful ninja.

She had Haruma's chakra. Meaning that she possessed it. The Last makes it relatively clear that Haruma's descendants have his chakra. For instance, the tenseigan, which consists of nothing but byakugans, is called "Haruma's power." Hinata, being of the main family of Hyuga has potent Haruma chakra, especially since all the Ootsutsuki refer to her as the "byakugan princess."

Power=/=chakra. He called it Hamura's power because he is the one who passed down the Byakugan to them. And the eyes were floating and glowing implying that they were not normal Byakugan. Just like the databook says the Hyuga have her Byakugan. You're not born with somebody else's chakra as the manga shows.
