[Discussion] Dragon vs Shanks

Dragon is the leader of the revolutionary army, in the beginning of the series he destroyed the marines at Loguetown without lifting a finger. He is shrouded in mystery, but is presumed to be extremely powerful considering he is the #1 criminal in the world.

Shanks is one of the Yonko, he's one of the strongest yonko if not the strongest. He's shown to be stronger than Kaido because he won their battle and Blackbeard was more scared of Shanks then Sengoku and Garp. And Blackbeard is one of the strongest in the entire series.

Dragon takes this extremely high diff 75% of the time I'd say.

However there's not enough feats to distinguish who is stronger however I'm going with Dragon due to his portrayal so far.

At the end of the Marineford Arc it was mentioned Shanks came to Marineford from his clash with Kaido, so he did fight him. It was just never shown like Akainu vs Aokiji/Kuzan...

We've seen no feats from Prime Garp so I guess Shanks>Prime Garp.

You don't know that, he's only 39. Although, I think the gap is really small between pre-TS and post-TS Shanks since he's already a top tier.

Black: Garp is said to have clashed with roger, And roger fought on multiple ocassions with WB. And we have seen quite a lot of feats from WB. So we can understand the tier in which prime garp falls.
But what do you know about Dragon?

No it was stated tht shanks stopped kaido from coming not fought or even clashed .... All of the yonko r tittled that for a reason do you honestly think shanks can beat kaido that fast and coke out of this clashed unharmed....? They should all be relatively close in strength. What most likely happened was tht kaido was on his way shanks got in his way kaiido realized he cannot take on both shanks and white beard in one day.. not to mention finish shanks off in such a short amount of time (if u scaled it compared to akoji and akainu then the fight should btake 10 days or more to finish )... Kaido realizeing this prob just went home ...
No proof of this but this is logical thinking no one is stupid enough to think shanks can beat kaido in such a short amount of time and still make it in time to stop war unscathe that wouldn't make sense going bybOP logic

We don't really know much about either of their powers, except that there is no ay that this fight is going down any less than extreme diff. Going with Dragon because he has a cooler name.

Akainu never improved from what we've seen. We have no reason to believe Shanks actually improved during the TS.
