Most Fillers in this series are mainly Bad Comic Relief or Bad Storylines with Uninteresting Villains and Annoying Filler side Characters (like Sora). Guren is OK.

So it's not surprising that people have a grudge against Fillers.

The storyline's aren't bad for the most part, I personally enjoy the way they bring in new concepts and explore different aspects of the Naruto world, it actually gives the place real substance, unlike how it is in the manga. The fillers are actually a blessing to the franchise, not something negative. I can't even begin to explain the large amount of aspects that get development in the anime that are instead neglected in the manga.

Every filler episode does wonders for the entire franchise. There is so much development in the fillers that Kishi fails to do himself in the manga. By comparison, I'd give the Manga a 2.5/10 with the anime getting an 8/10. Because that's just how much of an impact all the fillers have on the overall story of Naruto. Though I'd say Hinata benefits the most out of any character from the fillers. It's actually kinda how pathetic people hate fillers, when they're perhaps the only thing that brings Naruto from shit-tier series to above-average tier series.

Yes I agree 100 percent with this. Fillers do bring out the best in characters. It shows there potential as characters. In fact one filler arc told the story of Kakashi Hatake that I really loved watching. It explained how he lived his life when his comrades passed away. You also got to know when he met Yamato. If stuff like this was added in the manga. It would have given each character more depth in there character.

I don't watch the anime myself unless they're covering an important fight or of course, if it's bonus filler content. Mostly because the anime prolongs shots and scenes just to lengthen episodes, so I find no real reason to watch something for 30 minutes when I've already read it and can read it again in 5 minutes. Colour, motion and sound isn't enough to pull me in, especially with the animation often being sub-par.

If other characters had more relevance *coughSasukecough* I would rate it 7.5/10. But it's a good movie indeed, the best Naruto movie.

You can find the plushy in the shop next to dragon's castle where princely fiance are dumped for being an ungrateful pompous idiot.

Yeah well I personally liked the Oro flash back interactions with Itachi. That was really nicely done and explained how and when Oro got attracted to sharingan powers. But some filler were too boring and then I barely get time to watch any anime.
