Oh its understandable, he is a good person to make it about. But eh, I got fed up with Kishimoto shoving Obito and Kakashi into every single thing in the war arc. Should've brought in K11, and the future Kages, and that would've made the epilogue much more hyped for.

His backstory was very tragic. I actually have a lot of respect for his character after seeing how he lost everything he had. Team seven was more of a family to him. I would love to see how he turned out over the years and why he kept that mask on all this time. Who knows? There is probably a story behind it.

Kishi didn't cared about this character, like someone said in this thread, SP never forgot she's a genjutsu type and a really good one.

in the movie she saved the rescue team from a big nasty genjutsu trap, in the novel version of the movie with more details and scenes, it's also explained how she managed to do it (she saw Sasuke all smiling to her so she automatically known it was a genjutsu).

Same goes for the movie, the Last. It depends on the featured content inside and if they fall in the series timeline. At any rate, they would be at least as "canon" as the anime filler, if not more so, considering that the novels are called epilogue and Kishi illustrated them himself. For me it means he had more involvement in these projects, than the movie, comparatively.

Kages attending the hokage meet didn't bring their spouses along with them to visit Neji's grave so all of them are are virgin barring Naruto. He should sent a thank you note to moon people. Without their intervention the Hokage meet would be turned into a complete virgin meet. U_U
