For a setup chapter I give it a 4, I just want Kaneki to regain his memories already but at the same time I don't. I know when he regains them he's going to go through more internal conflict. Also I have a theory as to why Arima kept Kaneki alive other than the obvious choice to make him an investigator.

Cuz it would be fun. :| For Arima it is no fun at the top. He probably wanted to raise Kaneki so it would be a challenge, I mean Kaneki was probably the first ghoul to put a scratch on Arima in a long time. Still it pains me to see how weak Haise is. I mean I love the dude's nature, but Haise is a ghoul trained by Arima himself. Kaneki was blitzing investigators like it was nothing and taking on top tier investegators yet Haise......:vincent:
