Is the consensus here that obito is more skilled than itachi?

Not a verses thread, just an observation. I thought from reading and watching the series it was clear itachi is the more technically skilled ninja but in here a lot of people seem to think that obito is more skilled.

Itachi is more skilled in my opinion. He has more of a tactical thought process, carefully mapping out the probabilities and possibilities and then taking precautions before jumping into battle.

Obito has knowledge of things [due to Zetsu], but he hasn't actually been exposed to the same amount of experience that Itachi has. Nor was he a prodigy like Itachi.

Obito "survived longer" because the single most powerful Uchiha just happened to still be alive and just happened to save his life. Thats chance. Luck. Theres no skill in that. Obito was also implanted Senju DNA which enhanced many things about him.

On the flip side, Itachi died of illness. Again, not of skill but of chance. You hit two people in the head with a rock but only decide to give one of them treatment, you think that the one who survives because you gave him treatment is more skilled just because?

Is this seriously a question? Itachi no contest, yes Obito was a skilled shinobi but don't compare such garbage to the Solo King.

You cant compare them together when both has unique ability to survive, so everything comes down to stamina. Lets say itachi has better health then they are equal but if obito has the second eye, he stomp. Just because we dont have any counter to it at this moment but only speed and teleport

I believe Obito is more skilled than Itachi. I mean, Itachi died half way through the series without completing his goal - Obito possesses the ability to use one of the most overpowered Jutsu's in Narutoverse (Kamui), fooled his enemies into thinking he was "Madara" (even fooled Itachi), started the 4rth Shinobi world war, gathered most of the tailed beasts, became the Jinchuriki of the 10 tails, and helped defeat Madara & Kaguya.

Obito is definitely more killed.
